University which has spirit "Where Great Technical Careers Begin" is located in Durian Tunggal, Melaka, Malaysia. This University, the first technical public university in Malaysia, be my destination where i wanna get bachelor degree. Ok, i'll tell u all about profile of UTeM.


UTeM was established on December 1,2000 it means today this university just 10 years old. Although this university so young but the facilities like laboratory,  many equipments which use to take research are complete, a sports complex whic has a stadium and a sports hall, a computer center, cafetaria, shuttle bus, and accommodations are satisfied. This University has large ground and the location of this university is separated from city crowd. You can look a beautiful view like a lake, some hills and forest. Today UTeM is ranked 23 of 66 university in Malaysia according to the ranking in www.webometrics.info. I think this university will be on the top over the time because this university has increased the number of grant, achievement in research and performances in many competitions.


The number of the international students increase over the time. Today UTeM has 141 International Students and 27 International Staffs in Academic. In Undergraduate has 40 Int. Students, master has 87 Int. Students and Postdoctoral has 14 Int. Students. That Students from Indonesia, Yaman, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Chad, Syria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Tanzania, Jordan and India but the large number of student is from Indonesia. In convocation 2010 UTeM has graduated the first graduates of international students. Four International Students have graduated in that convocation.
